Samsung discontinues Galaxy S21 Ultra

After halting production of its flagship Note lineup last year, the South Korean tech giant has now put an end to the production of its Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone as well across all markets in anticipation of the Galaxy S22 Ultra making its debut on February 9th.

The company has already stopped selling the S21 Ultra on its official websites in France, Germany, the UK, and the US, among others. However, users can still purchase the Galaxy S21 as well as the S21+, alongside the newly released S21 FE.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra is still available for purchase via third-party retailers that still have the phone in stock, in many cases at a considerably lower price.

As per speculations, the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be taking place at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event, scheduled for today. However, to change it up a bit, this will be the first time Samsung will be hosting it on the metaverse.

Along with the launch of the highly-anticipated S22 series, the company would also be launching its flagship Galaxy Tab S8 lineup and like the Galaxy S range, the company is expected to launch three of them.
