Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, has stated that a road checking campaign will be begin on February 7 (tomorrow) to collect taxes from tax defaulting vehicle owners.
The campaign will run through February 18th. Chawla stated that ten teams have been formed for the drive in Karachi, which will begin tomorrow and would examine the vehicles of owners at 37 locations throughout the city.
The campaign is being undertaken to recover taxes from the owners of default automobiles.

The decision was made during a meeting presided over by Mukesh Kumar Chawla. Atif Rehman, Secretary Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, and Director Generals Iqbal Ahmad Leghari and Aurangzeb Panhwar were all there earlier this week.
